What is the review about?

​The Panel will be undertaking a piece of work on the Government's response to the COVID-19 outbreak. In particular, the Panel will be focussing on the responses of the Minister for the Environment and the Minister for Infrastructure.

Review progress

​The Panel is corresponding with the Minister for the Environment and the Minister for Infrastructure on a regular basis. It will also be liaising with relevant parties to send any questions, ideas, feedback and concerns, which will then be fed back directly to the relevant Ministers. It is also reviewing any propositions which are brought forward by these Ministers in relation to the COVID-19 outbreak.

The Panel has lodged an amendment to the Minister for Children and Housing's temporary amendment to residential tenancies. These would give the States Assembly the power to scrutinise any proposed changes or additions to the draft Regulations, and has been published alongside a Comments Paper issued by the Panel.

Terms of reference

​To undertake a piece fo work on the Government's response to the COVID-19 outbreak. Particular focus will be given to health and social services, in accordance with the Panel's remit.
