Work at the States Greffe
A career at the States Greffe puts you at the heart of the action of Jersey's democracy and is a truly unique place to work. The States Greffe is the department that provides behind the scenes support to ensure that parliamentary business runs smoothly.
The department is headed up by the Greffier of the States, who is responsible for keeping the official records of the States Assembly and advising States Members on the procedures of the Assembly, but there's far more to it than that.
States Greffe colleagues take part in a huge range of activities to help States Members get their job done and to make sure that Islanders are informed and involved with the important decisions that affect our daily lives.
We are researchers, problem solvers, creative thinkers, meticulous record keepers, explainers and educators, always ready to face the challenges that could crop up on any given day. And all this while maintaining political impartiality.
We currently do not have any roles that are being recruited for, but please check back here for future opportunities.
