First States Meeting of 2022

​The first States Meeting of 2022 will commence at 9:30am tomorrow, Tuesday 18 January. The entire meeting will be broadcast live via Microsoft Teams using the following links:

• Tuesday morning (9:30am)

• Tuesday afternoon (2:15pm)

• Wednesday morning (9:30am)

• Wednesday afternoon (2:15pm)
  

States Members will ask Ministers up to two hours and 20 minutes of oral questions, which have been issued to them in advance (i.e. 'with notice'). Details of next week's oral questions with notice can be found on page seven of the Order Paper. The following Ministers will answer oral questions which they have not been given in advance of the meeting (i.e., 'without notice') for 15 minutes each:

• The Minister for Home Affairs, Deputy Gregory Guida;

• The Minister for Infrastructure, Deputy Kevin Lewis; and

• The Chief Minister, Senator John Le Fondré.
  

The States Assembly will adjourn at approximately 10:30am until 2:15pm so that States Members can attend the funeral of Gary Burgess.

A notification when each debate begins, a summary of the proposal and the results of each debate will be shared on the States Assembly Twitter and Facebook pages throughout the meeting, which is expected to extend beyond Tuesday.
