Scrutiny Liaison Committee

​The Scrutiny Liaison Committee brings together the Chairs of the 5 Standing Scrutiny Panels, alongside the Chair of the Public Accounts Committee (PAC). The President of the Committee is Deputy Sam Mézec. It has responsibility for maintaining oversight of the work of the Scrutiny Panels and PAC and monitoring Scrutiny expenditure. The Committee is meeting weekly throughout the COVID-19 pandemic to help co-ordinate panel and committee work on emergency legislation and community challenges.
