The Jersey Overseas Aid Commission is responsible for allocating the annual budget for overseas aid and the Commission makes grants to many charities working in the developing world as well as giving emergency aid when necessary. The Commission also arranges for groups of volunteers from Jersey to undertake work projects overseas.
