Pre-poll voting is open

​Pre-poll voting for the May 2018 election opens today at St Paul's Centre in St Helier.

Anyone who wants to vote before election day can visit St Paul's Centre during the working week to cast their vote in the election for Senators, Deputies and Constables.

Islanders who are registered to vote can also vote at an an out of town polling centre on Saturday 5th and Saturday 12th May 2018. Voters can also wait until election day on Wednesday 16th May 2018 to cast their votes at their district polling station.

Those voters who want to vote before election day can pre-poll as follows:

Monday-Friday, 8.30am-5.15pm

From 30 April – 11 May 2018

Monday 14 May 2018, 8.30am-2pm

Closed:

Bank Holiday – Monday 7 May 2018

Liberation Day – Wednesday 9 May 2018

Saturday pre-poll:

Trinity Youth Centre

When you visit the pre-poll voting station you need to take photographic identification with you such as a driving licence or a passport. You will be greeted by staff who will mark your name off on the electoral register and give you your ballot papers. You can then go to the voting booth to cast your vote by putting an ‘x’ beside the name of your preferred candidate(s). You will be asked to put your ballot papers in an envelope and the envelope will then be taken by staff to your parish for inclusion in the count on election day.
