What is the review about?
The Economic Affairs Scrutiny Panel undertook a review of the MTFP Addition for the departments and areas falling within its remit, being Economic Development, Tourism, Sport and Culture, and the areas of Financial Services, Digital, Competition and Innovation within the Chief Minister's Department. The review looked at planned departmental spending and savings for the period 2017-2019.
Terms of reference
For each Department or function within its remit, the Panel will examine:
- The efficacy/appropriateness of proposed savings to be delivered during 2017-2019
- Any material changes or risks to service delivery
- How proposed spending will be funded
- Relevant impact assesssments undertaken by Departments to substantiate proposed savings/funding
