What is the review about?
The Panel undertook various pieces of work on the Government's response to the COVID-19 outbreak. In particular, the Panel focussed on the responses of the Minister for Health & Social Services and the Minister for Social Security, during the COVID-19 outbreaks in 2020 and 2021.
Review progress
The Panel corresponded with the Minister for Health & Social Services and the Minister for Social Security on a regular basis. It also liaised with relevant parties to send any questions, ideas, feedback and concerns, which were then fed back directly to the relevant Ministers. It also reviewed any propositions which were brought forward by these Ministers in relation to the COVID-19 outbreak.
Terms of reference
To undertake a piece of work on the Government's response to the COVID-19 outbreak. Particular focus will be given to health and social services, in accordance with the Panel's remit.
