This week's States Meeting

31st October 2022

The next meeting of the States Assembly will commence tomorrow, Tuesday 2 November, at 9:30am. The entire meeting will be broadcast live via Public-I from the States Chamber.

The Meeting will begin with the appointment of five States Members to the Bailiff's Consultative Panel. Nominations will be invited from the floor and each nomination will need to be seconded. If there are more than five nominations, a secret ballot will be held.

States Members will ask Ministers up to two hours and 20 minutes of oral questions, which have been issued to them in advance (i.e. 'with notice'). Details of this week's oral questions with notice can be found on page seven of the Order Paper. The following Ministers will answer oral questions which they have not been given in advance of the meeting (i.e., 'without notice') for 15 minutes each:

• The Minister for International Development, Deputy Carolyn Labey;

• The Minister for Social Security, Deputy Elaine Millar; and

• The Chief Minister, Deputy Kristina Moore
  

After question time, the Minister for Infrastructure, Deputy Tom Binet, will make a statement regarding the Our Hospital Review Report.
